We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God ..... 2 timothy 3:16 .....'All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.' ..... Scripture reveals God as the almighty creator of heaven and earth.

We believe that Jesus Christ is eternal and self-existent.

We believe that Jesus Christ paid the price for man's sin on the cross of Calvary ..... Romans 6:23 .....'For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.' ..... By believing on Jesus and accepting His free gift of grace, we receive the gift of eternal life through a loving relationship with Him, and through the empowering of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, we will live a life of obedience to God.

Because God first loved us, and because of Christ's sacrificial death and His free gift of grace, we want to obey God's Commandments ..... John 14:15 .....'If ye love me, keep my ommandments.' ..... We accept that we are not saved by our own works, but by the grace of Jesus. But we believe that a true loving relationship with Jesus will produce obedience and good works ..... James 2:17-18

.....'Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.'

We believe that Bible prophecy reveals the soon return of our Lord, King and Saviour Jesus Christ.
