Why the Rapture?

1. To Fulfill Jesus' Promise to the Apostles.
Jesus /Yeshua promised to take us (the believers that are alive at the time of
His coming) to be with him.
John 14:1 Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
John 14:2 In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.

2. To Keep the Promise Made to Abraham.
Genesis 22:16 and said, "By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,

Genesis 22:17 indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.
Genesis 22:18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.

Hebrews 6:13 For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,

In order to keep the promise that He would greatly multiply his seed as the stars of heaven and as the sand of the seashore, God will need to take the seed to a safe place.
The seed of Abraham is made up of the actual genetic descendants (the 12 tribes of Israel)) as well as those followers by faith, as we mention in Reasons for the Rapture.

Most of the followers of Jesus/Yeshua will be put to death by the one-world government referred to in the book of Revelation as "the Beast that looks like a leopard". Therefore, it is necessary to take His followers out of the grip of Satan and the Beast. Due to the fact that there will be no area
of the earth in which the government of the beast will not have authority, God will need to take His people literally out of this Earth.

Acts 3:25 It is you who are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, 'AND IN YOUR SEED ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED.'
3. To Have a Larger Gene Pool from Which to Repopulate the Earth after the Battle of Armageddon.

God states that the human population left on this earth would be more rare than the gold of Ophir. Therefore, in order to avoid genetic inbreeding, God will need to take enough people out of this Earth so that He could repopulate the Earth later on.

Also, the gene pool is being damaged by genetic manipulation, not only of the human genome, but the plant genome "Frankenfood".Many valuable genes are disappearing in the plant kingdom and animal kingdom, including the homo sapiens.
4. To Save His Followers from the Hour of the Test and the Wrath of God.After the rapture/rescue God will start to deal with the evil forces here on earth -- Satan and his human followers.

He deals with them in what the bible calls "the day of the Lord" or "the day of God's wrath.
5. To Dethrone Satan The ruler of this Earth is Satan. He has already been cast out of heaven.
Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war,
Revelation 12:8 and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven.
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
The final war to dethrone Satan and his angels will be on this Earth and will start after the first trumpet is sounded -- after the rapture.

Isaiah 13:5 They are coming from a far country, From the farthest horizons,
The LORD and His instruments of indignation, To DESTROY the whole land.
Isaiah 13:6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is near! It will come as DESTRUCTION
from the Almighty.
Revelation 6:17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
Revelation 14:10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
We are waiting for the signs of Christ's return to rapture / rescue his followers in order to protect us from the one-world government of "the beast" and the wrath of God.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come.
